The Role

You have been working in tech industry for 3 years or even longer than that, but you never feel you’ve worked that long—you enjoy the process of crafting. Dieter Rams and Naoto Fukasawa might be on your bookshelf, or you might find yourself inspired by Paul Renner. You are extremely detail oriented—geek out things like en dash vs em dash; yet also able to think with the big picture in mind, and used to startup pace. You have extensive experience working with creative designer and developer. You know your tools well, you would closely follow the Config conference every year.

Responsibilities

• Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
• Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
• Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, motion transitions and attractive user interfaces
• Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
• Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams
• Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
• Apply and follow good practices (e.g. a11y)

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of UI/UX designer experience, and strong portfolio of related projects
• Know Figma throughly
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
